Service Description
The Galaxy Room at the Colley Community Center is a vibrant, imaginative space designed to spark creativity and connection. With flexible seating arrangements and open floor space, the Galaxy Room can be customized to fit your event needs—whether you're hosting an arts and crafts session, or a club meeting. The room provides a welcoming, inspiring environment that makes any gathering feel special and memorable.
Cancellation Policy
1. Rental Details: Rental details are to be collected in the online booking form. The cost of the rental includes: • basic bathroom necessities (toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels) • 2 large trashcans & 2 trash bags (smaller waste baskets in the workshop rooms should be consolidated into a larger trash bag if possible) • basic cleaning supplies (Windex, counter spray,) • use of vacuum cleaner & Swiffer mop w/ 2 Swiffer pads 2. Rental Fee and Payment: The Renter agrees to pay a rental fee of [Amount] for the use of the CCC. Payment is due 7 days prior to the event date. A non-refundable security deposit of $20 is also required, which will go towards the rental fee, provided there is no damage to the premises. 3. Use of Premises: The Renter agrees to use the CCC solely for the purpose stated in this agreement. The Renter shall not sublease or assign the premises to any third party without the prior written consent of the CCC. 4. Responsibilities: A representative from the CCC will be on site to open the building and disarm the security system at the start of the rental period and will similarly close and arm the security system at the conclusion of the rental period. A representative will also be on-call for the duration of the rental period should questions or concerns arise. This point of contact information will be provided once payment in full has been received. The Renter is responsible for any damage caused to the premises during the rental period and agrees to reimburse the CCC for the total cost of any necessary repairs. The Renter shall adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the CCC regarding the use of the premises. The Renter is responsible for cleaning any and all spaces/items that were used during the rental period. This includes vacuuming rugs, wiping down surfaces, mopping floors, and consolidating and disposing of all trash bags. The Renter shall also return spaces to the configuration in which they were found. Check out sheets with detailed cleaning instructions and location of cleaning supplies will be provided to the renter upon arrival. 5. Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation, the Renter must provide written notice to the Center at least 2 days prior to the event date to receive a full refund of the rental fee. The security deposit will not be refunded, but can be put towards a future rental date. 6. Indemnification: The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the CCC from any claims/damages.
