Land Stewardship: Tips & Tricks from Master Gardeners

With the help of some Master Gardeners in the 757, participants will not only learn some planting tips & techniques, they will also help transform the yawn in front of the CCC during this hands-on workshop. After receiving grant funds from the City of Norfolk to plant trees and partnering with the folks at the ERP, we are ready to not just learn about how to best steward our land but also to put that knowledge into action. Master Garderners will provide short sessions to share insight on native plants and planting techniques before helping to actually plant the trees and flowers at the CCC property. This workshop will be a community-focused event that involves both instruction and interaction! We invite you to come get your hands dirty alongside of us as we beautify the land with guidance from local experts!
